Fat Fritz 2 is a rip-off

As the head administrator for TCEC at the time, I can certainly say that many were irate at DeusX. It was very obvious that it ran using leela and was not presented to us in a way to make it seem otherwise. His interview was much different than his official engine submission.

Silver was trying to innovate with methods of training neural networks but his continued lack of credit for existing work is upsetting.

The good news from TCEC’s perspective is that we were able to start building rules that did not allow for such entries in subsequent seasons.

Silver didn't innovate anything. He was just training a NN with a good hardware paid by Chessbase.
While I wholly agree with the article, I don't think it should be posted as a lichess announcement.
