This is actually great news. Let's just hope that the traffic won't be an issue. It's possible that there will be great amount of (not only) russian fans wanting to watch especially Big Vlad not on TV, but directly on lichess. And as an old russian saying goes - "nás mnogo."
I know that Magnus is playing on this site pretty much always and he's chess champion, but Kramnik is also legend and people are not used to see him play online, so him playing on lichess is (from my point of view) kinda bigger deal. And if it's not only my POV, there might be problem with number of viewers. The problem might be even with the TV - not sure how many people are watching that channel specifically, but if it's one of the big national channels with lot of viewers and they say during broadcast that it's played on lichess, there might be some sort of collapse.
But those are just my pessimistic thoughts, in fact i trust that lichess people already thought about those potentional issues and had them covered.
And I'm actually really happy that such an event will be here.

Wow, cannot wait for this - will be great to see Vlad in action again, even if just blitz. Bit weird the news was on Chessbase before here though.
