The introduction of swiss and round robin for tournaments on lichess

It's not possible to add password to swiss tournaments. You can restrict people from joining your team or kick them out of your team to disallow them from playing your swiss tournament.

I am facing the same problem, unable to control the participants due to this.

Unfortunately Swiss tournaments are not mentioned in "Activity".
