If you press alt+f4 on your keyboard, the arrows go away :)

No problem, that is TV chess, the problem is on the node that diffuses to the many viewers.. Just had to delete the extra variations if he did not want to also mention the variations. Here is interactive chess, or so I thought.
If you press a on the keyboard, the arrows disappear!
When you press 'a' on your keyboard, it disables this annoying purple arrow option. At least it worked for me. You can also try and see.

That seems like a hotkey for toggling the "best move arrow" option.

Interestingly, the purple arrow doesn't show the best move (as per the engine), it just shows the first move (and so on) that you saved in your study.
shift-? then a.. in studies at least..

I think it toggles off all such arrows.. for the 3 sources possible. engine, user, and books.

I guess the bugs to iron out come from making the 3 sources of imagination possible cohabit on same board.
Not talking about people, not interested in interactive chess, but those who are, still need to be able to have all 3, or any combination of them... might start being a triplet of toggles is going full fine grain user control. but first color coding and superimposition problems... me going to test "a".

The toggles for engine and book arrows, besides "a" are the feature themselves. turn engine off, turn book off.
I guess, maybe the user might need that too.. Or while ironing the separation of the board signals for each source.
