Lichess servers dying

To all the complainers ...
Remember: Lichess is ABSOLUTELY FREE, NO ADS, NO TRACKING and so on.
If you lose some rating points or win some rating points - The World (and lichess) at the moment has other problems...
So be thankful to have such a good service 99 % of the year and just leave lichess (forever ;-) if you don't like it.

Many many players wonder and run around: "what happened - the Friendslist are gone - the personal Tournament are gone - right now are 13 official Team battles from Germanys Liga why? - why the fallowers list don't work.... how to find each another again for personell Tournaments?"

It's hard that Lichess has problems and you have a lot of work to do - thanks for all the effort!
But would be nice to inform somewhere all players what is changing, what is shut down, what Mass-Tournaments are coming.
Good you take care of the new users, but also inform the old local users who support Lichess for years.
It would save a lot of time and questions.

At the end, beside this details - you all do huge great effort! Thanks a lot! Good Luck to all of us!

My personell thought: To all new and old guys - become a Patron and support the best Chess site with 5-10$ per month (it's buying 1-5 Coffees less per month) - then we grow faster to higher quality .

(my first time using Twitter - just for Lichess) I will share the news to our Team of 700 players. In mind, we all support you guys!

I lost hundreds of rating points due to the servers crashing. My realistic rating at blitz is at about 2400 probably. Please restore them.

ps I love you lichess and always will despite the newcomers strolling in and taking up server capacity. How do I donate? Are the tee shirts still available?

Yesterday we exceeded the threshold of 80.000 players connected. Lichess peaks were little above 40 thousand before the virus chrisis. It's an incredible performance, they doubled the server load all of a sudden. People should understand this. Everybody at Lichess, thank you!

@pawner85729 I highly doubt you lost arround 600 raiting points, plus, if you were constantly losing rating due to lag issues, stop playing games.
