Adding a new 30+ min rating category !!

Nice idea @Cuxhaven . Not sure though because that could be considered a violation to Lichess rules.

I would like to add my vote to a longer time control category, and ideally throwing 10-minute games into Blitz. Rapid 15 Minute to 25, 25+ being classical / standard would make sense to me.

The only reason I still play at chess.com is because there is more capacity to play longer time controls. Competitions with longer time limits would also be excellent... even if they ran for 2 - 3 hours, I think after time, they would become popular.

I would love to see a new longer time rating category.
But I don't want that thibault and the Lichess Team has too much work with it.
So that is was I think:
Just add a new "longer games" category with no games in it.
Just like the UltraBullet category.
I don't care about the old (longer) games. Let the old (longer) games stay in the classic category.

I thin retroactivity is not really needed. If a new rapid catergory addded just initialize ratings based blitz and let rating system fix the problems in the pool.

Fixing API's i fobvisouly matter only person maintaining them can have an educated opinion so probably that is load of work
