Please make clear in a chat room when a user is a moderator and consider a CoC

#10

Haha. OK I will do that man. You made me laugh with your reply haha. I will just send him an anvil :P.

This is off-topic but why did you said that chess.com ratings are meaningless?
Would you had preferred that I used lorem ipsum text instead? I just write whatever I want when I'm mocking up a forum thread. Or it may have been a real one, but I can't find it anymore.
I had a mind to add something to the debate a while back......not because I had a problem with the original post but because of the mod involvement. I decided not to, at the time, because I had nothing extra to add I felt. After all, the guy was being stupid. Yet, after a few beers, I have to point out, that the mods who got involved were a bunch of arses. So, on the balance of things, I'll have some more beer.
#4 I'm relatively new to the site and until now I never opened a profile of a moderator and I didn't knew that were an icon to distinguish them, thus I was under the supposition that that user was not lying and was a moderator. So, that was an erroneous assumption that changes completely the situation.

#5 I said already that I didn't make myself a good example in that situation, but the threats that I suppose that were real got me mad (always supposing that he was a moderator). And in either case, I'm willing to accept any consequences due to my lack of manners, on that I'm very consequent. In my discharge I have to say that I only tried to stop him to disrespecting another user and being rude withe everybody (I didn't like that, I don't like bullies, and now those previous lines does not seem to appear in the chat).

#4 and #5 You are right, almost nobody read the ToS, and maybe a good idea would be to pop-up the Use Conduct part of the ToS (or a more elaborated CoC) when a user create a new account in the site. I'm glad to know that this is already written in a part of the site, maybe next time I would use that link instead of say anything to anybody :)

Anyway I apologize for my conduct in that chat and I'm not proud of that, usually I don't get mad so easily.
