Lichess Arena Tournaments: Feedback Request

As many of you may have noticed, lichess recently changed the hourly Bullet Arenas by lengthening the tournament duration from 30 minutes to 45 minutes. This was done largely as an attempt to highlight the endurance factor required by the players to win an official arena tournament, as well as to allow enough time for some players to recover from a poor start. Now that the new system has been in place for a while, the lichess development team is requesting feedback from the lichess community about this recent change. Namely, how long do you think the Hourly Arena Tournaments should last? Even if you don't necessarily play in these tournaments, maybe you watch some of them on YouTube or Twitch from people like [John Bartholomew]( www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkyhBFcAhFM), [ChessExplained]( www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtY-GRmU62Q), [Kingscrusher]( www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmqIWYu4Djw) or [Chessbrahs]( http://www.twitch.tv/chessbrah). How has this change affected your enjoyment of their content, if at all?

If you want to leave your feedback you can vote in our [straw-poll]( http://strawpoll.me/4522447) or leave a comment in this thread and it will all be read by the lichess team. And just to clarify, yes I am a moderator on lichess.org, this thread is Thibault approved!
On the topic of bullet - Maybe the tournament timer could turn red when it is less than a minute or so? Then it could turn into a sign saying "tournament over" or something similar.

Thanks for all the updates. Just some thoughts since the change might not be too hard.
Your straw poll doesn't seem to work. Like lots of things round here at the moment :D
One thing to add to the tournaments would be to make playing them available on the app :)
Yay the bottom link DOES work now, thank you... and very cool the polling page looks, too.

#5 One example, I (and several other people) keep getting bullet games that don't 'end' for between 2 and 15 minutes after the opponent's time has run out. Also, the "favourite players" figures are all wrong - for instance, it says I've played 39 games vs Contradique, whereas the score between us is actually 246.5-136.5 in my favour, so 383 games. There are tons of people against whom I've played 100+ games, but none seem to be shown!
I like a bit of variation, have some 45 minute and 30 minute ones.

If I had to choose, I'd prefer 30 minute ones. Most people who go to school or work would rather have a couple of tournaments that are fairly short than one long one.

I also feel that hourly arenas (esp. with 45 minute ones) can be pretty taxing if done side by side. 30 minutes would give sufficient time for a break in between.
As a youtube viewer i prefer to watch the quicker 30 minute tournaments..
