I got to know about Bit Coins because Lichess uses it tournaments .
Is it Safe to Invest in Bit Coins ? I know It has High fluctuations but from last year , Its Value has only Risen by Twice !

Hi Father, though I'm sure there will be others with far more experience than me with regards to this digital currency as a financial analyst I can maybe lend some credence in its validity. First of all as an investment vehicle it all comes down to your own personal willingness and degree of risk you wish to take. Bitcoins have been around for over 5 years now and that in itself shows that the market for it is vibrant and sustainable for at least the short run. With respect to fluctuations (also known as volatility or risk) this has been dropping every year as the users and public feel more confident in the currency so I would expect the trend to continue. Back to your main aim of investing, it's really difficult to say of course whether you will make a good return if any but I my opinion if you are new to investing in digital currency to start small in order to reduce risk. For example if you have in total $100 to invest set aside 5% to invest towards this with a end goal or timeframe after which you will reassess whether you want to sell out or increase your investment.
