5 Crucial Steps to Stop Bad Results in Chess

Nice article, but as a Chinese player, i have to say that ‘机’ means a moment or a period. This may not coincide with your reasoning, but it is a language problem, and i think it won't disrupt your viewpoint.:)
Very good core of the article. To me the main point is, that the „challenge“ or crisis is an invitation to stop and reflect.
I lost 100 Elo-points due to two strong Over-the-board tournaments in the last months and over 100 points at lichess.
I stopped and analysed the reasons, my games and my attitude during the tournaments. I think it helped a lot, because the first OTB-games are encouriging and i regained my lichess points, despite i had really doubts, if i would ever be able to achieve this. The points are currently even higher than before. - So, i can consent to almost all of your findings.
One small point, that could maybe added is, that a certain loss of points - be it, let‘s say, around 50 Elo-points, is absolutely normal. This alone does not indicate a crisis at all.
Thank you for this article!
Thanks good advice but what if these dont really change your stressful mood?
OMG that was the best blog I have ever read. I think it was ment for me because I always get snowballs when playing chess and it causes my rating to go down. Thank you so much for this!
