Cannot join the team

I tried to join a new club. I get the message " Cannot join the team. You have already joined too many teams". Before that, I was in 50 clubs. Out of 5, there are 45 clubs left. But the ban on joining a new club still appears. Why?

for me its 100. (I was in more than 50 teams before and joined another one, but then I decided to remove some teams, cause if I didn't you would be scrolling down for a whole minute lol)
