Fire in a Lichess data center

> OVH is one of the best data centers there is out there as far as i know. I have worked with their server a bit and they're awesome.

And yet they didn't have fire suppression equipment installed allowing the fire to spread to other rooms.
Reading about that fire last night I remember thinking , how is it possible to have a fire affect Lichess and what is there to burn>? It's not much like a fireworks factory in those kind of buildings, which look incredibly secure. Then I thought sabotage when seeing the image...perhaps because of envy of free Lichess, I guess.
@Sacmaniac It's my understanding the server company was about to 'go public', that is to begin trading their stock on a major european exchange ... their 'IPO' may've even been slated for today ...

UPDATE: Now I am corrected in that OVH issued a press release on Monday as to their positive outlook for a near-term IPO ... and that the above guess about their IPO being launched today is fully in error ...
#92 Well, OVH is subject to French law so I assume they are doing whatever is reasonable within the confines of the law (whether that involves fire preparedness if required and/or carrying insurance if required).
#96 So fires are allowed to burn out of control in order to protect the environment?
@sjc314 Exactly. Seems OVH had never heard of photoelectric smoke detectors, gas based sprinkler systems and similar; they're too focused on making money. At least now it's clear where not to store data.
