Weird bug in a 45 45 game

Hi,

I just played this game ( lichess.org/yvuH0wwX ) and I lost on time. I couldn't move a piece nor could I write the notation for the move, so my time ran out.

It started when I noticed Kc7 occurred twice in the notation, once for Black and once for White(!) so in the end my moves as black were written down as whites and vice versa.

I have a screenshot of Kc7 being listed twice.

Thanks!
No, it wasn't my connection. I simply couldn't make a move while my time ran out and there was no lag between my time ran out and lichess confirming my loss on time. I've lost numerous games on bad connection and this was completely different. Never experienced it before.

Also the fact Kc7 listed twice, messing the moves up in notation window. Weird. Here's the screenshot:

Notice that White's Kd3 ends up listed in the column to the right (i e Blacks) after Kc7 listed twice.
as far as I know, that's because the thing that tells you you ran out of time is client side. So if you completely lose connection you will be unable to move at all, and your time will run out, as you described.
This is another example of what I don't get about Chess: It's a draw guys. Shake hands and move on. Shuffling rooks all around trying to win a pawn? I don't get it. In a 45+45? That's about as boring, tedious, and pointless of a task as I've ever seen. There are things about this game that I don't think I'll ever get past. If there was something to win or achieve, I would understand that level of determination. But simply to say "I WIN!", seems like a life loss in the end.
#6 very disappointed with your reply :/. By the way his account is closed
Could it be a very short connection break affecting the notation locally?

I've had one game here where I suddenly noticed that the moves for both sides were written in the other colour's column for the rest of the game. Checked the game notation 1-2 days later and it was corrected, so probably it was just on my computer...
Yes. same thing here @GonzoTheSmurf - it is corrected now but during the game it was faulty and it happened after Kc7. Not sure the issues are related, but I probably shouldn't have backtracked the error while playing, instead let it be and looked it up afterwards.

The 45 45 mod suggested a refresh/reload with F5, that might solve the issue if it occurrs again. I got too stressed when low on time to think of that 'solution'.
Yeah, I think my game went okay except for the strange notation, iirc I even won - so not messing with it while playing is probably good! :)
