Placing the Black King

Hey guys.

I hope you can help me with a puzzle I encountered and can't get my head around. This is the FEN: 8/8/8/8/6Q1/2K5/8/6B1 w - -

There are three questions. Each question requires you to place the Black King in such a manner that

a) on White's next move, #,
b) when Black is to move, he is in stalemate,
c) when Black is to move, he stands as checkmated.

I solved for b) and c), but not a) yet. Been hours at it unsuccessfully. Let me know what the answers to b) and c) are to double check...I do have the answers (at least I hope they are correct!).

Well, b is obviously h2, and c is e3. Still looking for a.

The answer to a is a8. White plays Qc8#

Nevermind what I said on B, I was thinking from some odd assumption that black would be forced into stalemate as his move, not that he was currently in stalemate. So yeah, it's h1.
