Have you ever forgotten something important?

Phew! Saved just in time! Bet your brain was smokin' alllll day!
Good job!
In the summer I don't have my regular orderly work schedule... I am a teacher, so 9 months of the year I keep my brain together. In the summer, it's like I am a teenager again staying up all hours of the night watching YouTube or playing chess, reading, chatting, whatever and sometimes I can forget what day I am on and that I have to get up early for church the next day or that I have an early online tutoring lesson with a kid in the morning. Ugh... getting up with very little sleep is not fun, but I mess myself up all the time in the summer. ;-P

But tomorrow is definitely Saturday, so, my sleep schedule is out the window again.... :-D
I get an appointment with a reminder on paper. I have that paper on the desk and look at it several times a week until that day arrives. It always show the same date. When the day of appointment arrives I pick up the paper as a reference when I am about to leave for the appointment. Now it shows that the appointment was yesterday...

For a long time I was convinced that the universe changed just to annoy me...

Now I realize it is simpler to change my brain. But I still cannot rule out that we live in a simulation...
"Have you ever forgotten something important?"

Now you mention it, I'm supposed to be monitoring my colleague when he cleans out the salt water Crocodile pool at the Zoo ! , I guess he'll be OK. :).
I'm pretty sure I have but I don't remember what it was.
I remember that I once forgot that I had my exam and ultimately I was 10 mins late for the exam.
