BUG REPORT

i was playing on a 3D board in this game and couldnt promote my pawn to a queen! I had auto queen off and selected the queen from the piece list but it didnt promote and just stucked on the pawn

Congrats all in the Lichess team for the great frontend rewrite :)

I also had issues with promotion.

I set "auto promote to queen" to Never, but it promotes to queen automatically without asking me.

@andr3a It's because you have keyboard moves enabled. When you use the keyboard, you don't get a mouse oriented promotion menu.

Fixed 3D promotion.

I was also saved by an auto promotion to queen in a bullet game despite my preference being to always select autopromote. I do have keyboard moves on. So to underpromote, what should I type? In v1 with the same settings, I think I could choose promotion piece.

I have bug in the middle of the board, when I'm moving a piece, middle squares starting changing its quality(
