As of today, I am not able to analyse variants via the analysis board or play a variant offline anymore. This is nonsense. Please fix it.

hello hi, this might be fixed in the 4.5.4 update for ios 10, still in review queue I guess. If that one doesn't work, please provide version and whether you use android or ios

I am not able to reproduce any problem with variants in android versions from 4.5.0 to 4.5.3
You need to be more specific: which exact version, what the problem exactly is, what are the steps to reproduce.
As I said, the version number is 4.5.3. The problem is that I cannot find a way to analyse a variant using the analysis board. Reproducing is simple: open the analysis board.
Local analysis for regular chess is broken in my android version as well. 4.5.3
It works sometimes, but then it just stops. If you try to make a move then it acts like it's a premove.
Here's a screenshot. From tactics, analysis, make a few moves, then analysis stops and breaks.
