SMTX Chess Club

SMTX Chess Club is dedicated to spreading the joy of playing chess to people of ALL ages and skill levels from child to adult and novice to master. We meet weekly on Wednesday at the San Marcos Public Library from 6:00 PM to 8:45 PM. Come by and say hi! We have plenty of boards, sets, and clocks so all you need to bring is yourself. We are also an official USCF club so we are able to have official USCF rated events periodically. There is a wide range of members starting at beginner and going all the way to near master.

We also do a monthly over-the-board UNRATED rapid tournament (G/10 +2) on the 4th Wednesday of every month starting at 6:15pm
