New Chess Website

Hi,

If you hate typing in your over-the-board chess moves into the computer, we have just the thing. You just take a picture/scan of your handwritten scoresheet and it automatically converts into a .pgn which you can playback or use in other chess tools/sites.

Very cool idea. I will try it out very soon.

Though I am quite sceptical about image processing. Nowadays it's still quite inaccurate.

Great idea, just have to make sure my scoresheets are not a mess in the future!

The difficulty I would have using it is that the score sheets would not be compatible with the majority of tournaments I would play in most cases the arbiter has to receive a copy.

I do see a market for the product if it is possible to make the software compatible with all scoresheets. Could be a big time saver for organisers.
