Improve "Training" section

I know that lichess.org is constantly trying to improve every feature, and that is one of the many things that make this website my favorite.

So how about in the training section, besides having the typical puzzles and the nice "coordinates" training game, we could add some different exercises?

♦What do you guys think that would be a good feature to add in the "Training" tab?

I personally would like to have end-game exercises.
You are given an endgame situation, and you are given white or black, and you have to play that endgame against the computer and win.
It would be an awesome end-game training!
You would also have a specific rating for this exercise, just like in "puzzle" and in "coordinates"

Let me know what do you guys think?
Cheers!
Great idea! I'd like to see the game analyses a we go along.
Not only this, but more similar problems to chess tempo ie problems other than mate in x moves. Opening practice with the analysis for every move would be really good too!
There are other problems, but it just so happens that "mate in n moves"-type puzzles tend to be pretty easy, and so you encounter them more frequently at a lower rating.
Exercises that help master the board and the chess pieces. Therefore, there should be three categories: The chessboard, tactics and strategy.
Chessboard exercises:
1. Coordinates. (Done)
2. Random color indicator, Complete all the colors of the chessboard randomly. Example Given: You are white, d4 appears on its square and you must pick its color. Once all the colors are on the chessboard, the exercise is over.
3. Tools to practice each piece like the Knight tour: chessprogramming.wikispaces.com/Knight+Pattern
4. Space count advantage, learn how important it is to gain space or reduce it when you are in a checkmate or stalemate position. Maybe this link can be helpful: chessprogramming.wikispaces.com/Population+Count

Combination tactics exercises using from one to six piece combination exercises to cover the subject of checkmates, stalemates, castling and material advantages. (Seams like what we presently have, but not sorted by number of piece involved in the combination.)

Strategy theme exercises:
1. Hanging pieces
2. Priyome exercises: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Priyome
3. Pawn structures: Create a pawn structure by playing out a main line to learn how pawns support the pieces. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pawn_structure

Exercises should be there to help master the roles of each theme exercise. Learning to use ever chess tool to create winning combinations is aiming for mastery.
1) Random positions from user games and you have to click on all the undefended pieces as fast as possible. When all undefended pieces are clicked, next random position is shown.

2) Random positions from user games and you have to click on all the pieces that can be captured in one move.

3) Fork trainer (like this : http://cft.muttsoft.com/CftMain.html)
Blitz win-block advantage.

The Blitz win-block puzzle shows immediate win positions. Either you win or you must block your opponent from winning. Very similar to the Captcha one mate puzzles, but it does not have to be a checkmate; it can be other tactics that give an advantage. The trick is to be able to immediate see the one move advantage. A solution button would be required to see the answer.
I think it would be very helpful if we could flip the board in puzzles.
That way we can train to look at our opponent's pieces and what threats they have.
I'm glad that this topic is getting a few replies
and good suggestions :)

Hopefully the developers will see it as well and will give us their perspective regarding this matter!
