Iran

What happened to the team of Iran?
I think the same that happened to Atomic Chess Theoreticians, where I'm team leader, and many other teams.

They disappeared.

If you look at the all teams list which used to be sorted by the number of members, now it is not sorted correctly, also some teams come up again and again on the list.

Something went wrong with teams in general, it is not a single team that has problems.
I think the team is wrong to sort by the number of participants, because many of you have created your profile, joined the team, and subsequently stop playing.

Also it is wrong to sort by tournament points, because many players prefer individual games. Besides tournament points are not the achievement of the team, because no team tournaments.

Also, it would be inappropriate to sort by the number of games played by team members, because some like to play 30+30, and will play 2-3 games per day, in others at the same time will have time to play 100-150 batches 1/2+0, because I love bullets.

It would be fairer to sort by the average rating of the participants, but the difficulty is what type of chess do.

In my opinion, the most fair and democratic solution is the total game time spent by all members of this command on Lichess (especially because this indicator is available in the profile of each player, and to summarize it is not difficult).
I don't understand why on Lichess it is impossible to organize team tournaments. Experience creating custom tournaments had more than great, even organizes Marathons! Some beat chessvegas.com playing in team tournaments for many years and grief do not know.

The first step towards the organization of team tournaments should be a rule: Every player can be a member of only one team.

However, since many players wanted to continue to communicate in their current teams, it would be possible to do the following.

Arrange 2, 4 or 6 teams force, on the principle of NHL Stars playing East against West, etc. Only these 6 teams will play in team tournaments. And each player can choose a team (but only one!) to play in team tournaments.
