What happens when a player is reported for insults?

I've reported at least two players for insults, but I'm curios as to what happens afterwards. I never got to know of any subsequent actions taken, and I do think it would be somewhat comforting to know that a moderator actually looked into the matter.
Basically, most moderator actions are invisible to end users, and we do not repond to 99.9% of reports, even if you ask for a response. But yeah, we look at all reports. Insult reports in particular are easy to go through and get dealt with very quickly.
-- who cares about insults... people get mad in chess... get used to the free speech.

At least in the game related to intelligence... the game of chess... stop being enemies of free speech. Let people talk trash, whine, and moan however they want when they lose. Things happen, people get flagged, people get mad, people lose queens, et al.

No need to moderate "insults". It's really childish to try to "control language" or "control offensiveness" on the internet.
You do not have a "right not to get offended." There will always be people who will insult. And there will ALWAYS be people who WILL FEEL INSULTED.
@Hellball so what you're saying is that there's no point in reporting? And for the 0.1% cases where moderators do respond, what usually happens?
#8 No, it means that moderators never directly speak to the person who send the report; they take what action they deem necessary without telling the person who sent the report.
