Better to resign or get checkmated?

6# i don't do that , in ultra I do it , and don't do that in any high number you can do it in 1 minute or like a second
Not sure if anyone has actually answered the question, but in terms of rating points it doesn't matter how you win, lose or draw. The rating point change will be the same.

So, if you lose by resigning, checkmate or timeout you will still lose the same number of rating points.
I personally prefer to play the game till the end (even if I lose) rather than resigning. Resigning will bring down the percentage of your Game Completion Rate, which will be shown on you profile. So, everytime a person views your profile, they will surely have a look at your low Game Completion Rate. This will indirectly result in your popularity levels go down on Lichess.
No, no and for the third and hopefully last time: NO!!!!!

Check my post #11, and in case you're too lazy to do that i will re-produce it here in it's entirety:

No, i don't think so

Only if you leave or abort games does it count. If you resign, you end the game as forcefully as if you play until checkmate. In other words, you complete the game. So in my understanding it counts as a "completed game" for you.
I usually resign when i see its a losing game. But it is good to fight on, it may be a draw. Your opponent may make a mistake. If he doesn't, at least you will learn by testing his end game skills.
@tpr is correct. it doesn't matter how you lose. it only matters IF you lose.
If you get flagged, you lose x points, if you resign, you lose x points. if you get mated, you lose x points.
