I'm glad someone got my 'intelligence' joke... I put that one on a "T" hoping it would be hit out of the part!!
Since I have only had you to help I came up with one LAME explanation on my own: I am wearing (?) blended / no line bifocals and the 'flashing' may occur as my head bobs up and down uncontrollably while I am talking to the flowers on the wall.
