quitting

Well, I am done permanently playing here. There are too many cheaters in all the variants that I once enjoyed. No one is taking steps to clean it up, and it is too frustrating to constantly be sniped by someone using an Atomic engine, and to not see the "top rated" antichess player banned with sufficient evidence provided.

This goes out to all the cheaters. You ruin the game.
On the plus side, a player I had reported for cheating nearly a year ago has finally been flagged.
Unless a perfect cheating detection system can be made there is always going to be cheaters.
For future reference to anyone complaining about cheaters: you can take the first step and report the people you think are abusing the system.

I don't really agree with you, I would say the amount of cheater is still pretty marginal even at higher level.
Only the fact that it became so easy to cheat makes us paranoic and we see (I put myself in this we !) cheaters everywhere.

To me the biggest problem are the smart cheaters that are impossible to catch, and some 2700+ Fide players might be cheating even in official tournaments and nobody would ever know :-(
Instead of quitting would it not be a better idea to work with Lichess to help identify the players who are cheating?

I would guess it is much more difficult to catch a cheater in Atomic or Antichess as the games are not played as often as regular chess.

I know you enjoy trolling too much to quit!
Cheaters are everywhere in everything that its possible to cheat in .
Why let them spoil a good game.
